Following the first successful case with the Smart SPACE Virtual 3D Planner in early 2020, LimaCorporate now announces the first case using a combination of Smart SPACE and a Glenoid 3D Positioner in the U.S.
The Smart SPACE digital platform gives real time feedback regarding implant positioning and is customized for every patient, while allowing the surgeon to maintain their usual workflow and customary O.R. and patient setup. Smart SPACE is developed in collaboration with TechMah Medical, which LimaCorporate acquired in 2018.
Smart SPACE is in controlled release within the U.S., and has been cleared for release in Europe, Australia and New Zealand. Further expansion of the controlledU.S. release is planned for later in 2020.
