HD LifeSciences Passes Milestone of 2,500 HIVE Interbody Implantations

Hive™ Soft Titanium®, used in HIVE spinal interbody devices, combines 3D-printed titanium with a proprietary NanoHive® surface treatment. The structural lattice offers implant stiffness control and durability. Over 2,500 HIVE interbodies have been implanted since the company formed in 2017.

Hive technology with NanoHive surfacing also provides ideal elastic modulus, diagnostic imaging and osteogenic properties.

HIVE devices received initial FDA 510(k) clearance in 2017. More recently, the company gained 510(k) clearance for the Hive ALIF Standalone Lumbar Interbody Fusion System.
