SeaSpine commenced limited commercial launch of the Shoreline RT™ Cervical Interbody Implant featuring Reef Topography™ for increased surface area. This is the first of five products slated to launch by the end of 2020 that will combine the company’s NanoMetalene® technology with Reef Topography.
Reef Topography comprises machined macrostructures and undercut features that serve as an integrated fusion scaffolding, providing additional surface area for bony ongrowth and ingrowth. For example, Shoreline with RT provides more than 40% increased endplate surface area vs. no RT.
Shoreline RT is designed for anterior cervical discectomy fusion procedures as part of the Shoreline ACS system or in combination with the Cabo™ anterior cervical plate.
