Rejoint’s approach combines elements of 3D printing, patient-specific implants, artificial intelligence and wearables to design personalized implants, surgical simulation and post-op rehabilitation for every patient.
The first custom surgery will be performed in Italy in 1Q19, with commercial partner Link Orthopaedics. Limited launch of YourKnee is slated for 2H19, following receipt of CE Mark approval.
Other partners to Rejoint include Arcam EBM, a GE Additive Company; Enhatch, developer of an inventory/logistics platform and Fit2Kit™ patient-specific planning software; and Orthokey, provider of Computer Aided Surgery tools like the Perseus smart cutting guide for TKA.
