Precision Spine commenced U.S. launch of the SureLOK™ MIS 3L Percutaneous Screw for use in Open, Mini-Open or Percutaneous MIS approaches for spinal procedures.
The system can be used to immobilize and stabilize spinal segments in skeletally mature patients as an adjunct to fusion to treat instabilities or deformities of the thoracic, lumbar and sacral spine. It may also be used for non-cervical pedicle screw fixation for a variety of diagnoses.
Component versatility is a key element of SureLOK, comprising cannulated pedicle screws, straight and pre-curved rods and locking caps in a variety of sizes. A percutaneous rod inserter features a bulleted tip, keyed hex end and 15° rod angle to ease rod insertion and release; the inserter shaft is designed to glide easily through the tulips for fast and efficient rod delivery. The system also includes a reliable compression/distraction system.
“The SureLOK MIS 3L Percutaneous Screw System represents another example of how Precision Spine is making good on its commitment to develop minimally invasive devices that feature the versatility and flexibility surgeons need to help improve OR efficiency and achieve positive patient outcomes,” said Chris DeNicola, Chief Operating Officer of Precision Spine.
