Precision Spine launched its Reform Modular and HA-Coated Pedicle Screw Systems. Further, the company noted that 2015 was the company’s 6th consecutive year of double-digit revenue growth.
Reform, which received FDA 510(k) clearance in late 3Q15, represents the first modular system with a cobalt chrome tulip and proximal tapered triple lead thread, designed to help increase the bone/screw interface. Modularity is intended to support visibility to permit more thorough decortication of the surrounding fusion bed.
The alternate hydroxyapatite-coated system is designed to enhance the amount of fixation possible between the pedicle screw and surrounding bone in osteoporotic patients.
