Pixee Medical performed its first worldwide surgery in June 2020 after having obtained approval under the CE Mark for a total knee replacement navigation tool using only AR glasses without disposable instruments. With a pending FDA 510(k) clearance, the company has projects for total hip and total shoulder replacement using mixed reality features.
