OrthoPediatrics commenced full U.S. launch of the Pediatric Nailing Platform | FEMUR (PNP | FEMUR) rigid intramedullary nail.
PNP | FEMUR features child and adolescent implant offerings and a full suite of instrumentation, including the Carbon-Fiber targeting arm, to address trauma and deformity correction. Child-specific nails are sized from 7mm to 9mm, while adolescent nails range from 9mm to 12mm.
The system received FDA 510(k) clearance in May 2018 and beta-launched the following month.
