OrthoPediatrics commenced U.S. launch of next-generation Cannulated Screw systems to treat pediatric fractures and fusions.
Each system includes all of the screws in one case and tray, designed to follow procedural flow, reduce time in the O.R. and increase efficiency. Instrumentation is optimized and color coded to aid in selection of associated instrumentation for a given screw diameter.
The 2.5mm, 3.0mm, 3.5mm, and 4.0mm sizes are indicated for fracture fixation and non-unions of small bones and small bone arthrodesis, while 4.5mm and 5.5mm sizes are is indicated for fracture fixation of long bones and long bone fragments.
