This represents the company’s first patent granted for sutureless repair of tissue and a further expansion of its global IP protection.
CelGro, a collagen scaffold, can be applied in multiple indications including repair of bone, tendons, peripheral nerves, etc. Reported advantages over synthetic and biologic tissue repair include improved cell compatibility, tensile strength and the ability to promote optimal tissue growth.
