Ortho Consulting Group Holdings (OCG) acquired Osteotec, a U.K.-based orthopedic device distributor and manufacturer.
Osteotec specializes in niche products for use in upper and lower extremities in the U.K. and other global markets. OCG specializes in global strategy, sales growth and building and strengthening of sales channels for orthopedic and spine companies.
OCG and Osteotec will operate independently and as separate legal entities. Matt Woods, OCG Founder, said, “Osteotec is a well-established business, with over 26 years of commercial experience in the U.K. orthopaedic extremities market, and is a brand well-known to customers in U.K. hospitals. As well as being one of the most tenured orthopaedic distributors in the U.K., Osteotec has a number of own-brand products which are exported globally.”
