OrthAlign Reaches Milestone 2,000 Cases with HipAlign

By Julie A. Vetalice

OrthAlign realized the clinical milestone achievement of its 2,000th case with HipAlign® handheld navigation for Direct Anterior Total Hip Replacement. The device was launched for the indication in early 2018.

In 1Q18, the company announced completion of 75,000 joint arthroplasty cases employing the company's entire platform of handheld, sensor-based precision alignment and positioning technology.

OrthAlign's computer-assisted, handheld technologies are designed to deliver real-time/in-procedure actionable data for alignment and positioning of components in total and unicondylar knee and total hip arthroplasties (both posterior and anterior). No additional time is spent collecting pre-operative imaging.
