Medartis commenced full commercial launch of its LapiPrep Lapidus Correction and Preparation System to the U.S. market.
LapiPrep, which has been in limited launch since 3Q22, allows surgeons to continuously adjust all three planes of deformity (IM angle, frontal plane rotation, sagittal alignment) while providing compression/distraction. Correction is held in place by stable screws within the dorsal jig, allowing the procedure to be performed with only one set of hands.
