LimaCorporate entered into an agreement with Dedienne Santé for distribution of the SYMBOL® dual mobility acetabular cup portfolio throughout the European Economic Area and Switzerland.
The cobalt chrome-based SYMBOL cup is approved under the CE Mark.
For cementless fixation, the devices feature a surface finish with a dual coating of porous plasma-sprayed titanium and hydroxyapatite. Bearings available with the SYMBOL stems are made of polyethylene/cobalt-chrome or polyethylene/ceramic. A cemented dual mobility cup is also available.
The devices will be integrated into LimaCorporate’s Large Joints Business Unit, broadening their offerings for surgeons and patients.
