OMNIlife science signed an agreement granting exclusive license to Global Orthopaedic Technology (GOT) to manufacture and market the APEX™ Knee in Australia, New Zealand and South Africa.
Under other, separate distribution agreements, GOT will continue to market OMNI’s OMNIBotics® robotic-assisted total knee and computer-assisted total hip replacement technology in certain markets, and OMNI will continue to market GOT’s Paragon Hip in the U.S.
At the end of 2016, OMNI marked the 10th anniversary of the APEX launch, which was used in >75,000 total knee procedures since 2006. OMNI acquired APEX SURGICAL in 2005.
