iOrthopedics Awarded Additional Patent for Universally Expanding Cage

iOrthopedics was granted U.S. Patent No. 10,085,846 for its Universally Expanding Cage (UEC). The 3D-printed device is designed to expand proximally, distally or both (uniformly)  for cervical to lumbar arthrodesis.

US10,085,846 follows after grants of Patent Nos. US9,861,494 and US9,999,515, with confirmed claims covering a device and method for independently altering the distance and angle between opposing vertebral endplates from the proximal end of the device.
