Implanet was granted a U.S. patent covering JAZZ Lock® technology, part of its JAZZ™ spinal platform.
The JAZZ Lock locking mechanism requires no rod fixation, and is an integral part of JAZZ Cap®, a comprehensive, proprietary system used to secure screws in poor quality bone. Most of the company’s future products will employ JAZZ Lock technology.
Implanet has sold more than 1,700 JAZZ Lock devices since its initial launch, mainly for the treatment of degenerative spine disorders. Full launch is slated for the end of 3Q19.
