Heraeus Medical is launching PALACOS® MV medium viscosity bone cement and PALAMIX® and PALABOWL® mixing systems.
PALACOS cements are now available in a more complete range of viscosities (low to high), and remain available with or without the addition of gentamicin antibiotic.
The PALAMIX system offers mixing and collection under vacuum to support optimal homogeneity of the cement. The PALABOWL vacuum mixing bowl is designed to yield a thorough cement mix, with no unmixed powder collection at the edges of the bowl; PALABOWL can mix up to three batches of 40g of bone cement in any viscosity. PALAMIX and PALABOWL can also be used with other bone cements.
As of January 2018, PALACOS bone cement products are available by direct sale in the U.S.
