Globus Medical (GMED) announced completion of spine procedures in Germany and Italy using its ExcelsiusGPS® robotic guidance and navigation system.
ExcelsiusGPS supports minimally invasive and open screw placement procedures, is used with GMED implants and instruments and is compatible with pre-op CT, intra-op CT and fluoroscopic imaging. The system is designed to minimize radiation exposure, streamline workflow and reproducibly assist in implant placement.
In its 3Q18 earnings call, GMED announced implant placement using ExcelsiusGPS in Greece.
