First U.S. Clinical Vertebral Fracture Cases with Hyprevention’s V-STRUT

Hyprevention announced the first clinical cases performed in the U.S. with the V-STRUT© implant to treat vertebral fractures.

Two implants, made of PEEK polymer, are inserted in the vertebral body through the pedicles and combined with PMMA bone cement.

The implants provide control of bone cement injection in a procedure that can be completed in approximately 25 minutes.

V-STRUT received FDA 510(k) clearance in early 2020.

Hyprevention has commenced commercialization of V-STRUT in the U.S. It is now available in Oklahoma, Texas, Louisiana, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware and Florida.
