THINK Surgical announced the successful first use of b-ONE Ortho’s MOBIO Total Knee System utilizing the TMINI Miniature Robotic System.
THINK Surgical received FDA 510(k) clearance for use of the MOBIO Total Knee System with the TMINI Miniature Robotic System in 2024. Earlier that year, THINK announced collaborations with b-ONE and also Maxx Orthopedics.
“This first case with the TMINI Robot and the MOBIO Total Knee now marks successful clinical use with all nine of our FDA-cleared implant partners,” said Stuart Simpson, CEO and President of THINK Surgical. “This powerful combination provides a compelling alternative to surgeons looking for a modern single-radius knee implant design with robotic assistance.”
“We are seeing great success with the MOBIO single-radius design and now being on the TMINI System’s open platform, surgeons have excellent choices to meet their implant and robotic surgery demands,” said Jim Duncan, General Manager of b-ONE Ortho Corporation.
