THINK Surgical will enter into a new Collaboration Agreement with Maxx Orthopedics to add implants, including the Freedom Knee System, to THINK Surgical’s ID-HUB, a proprietary database of implant modules for use with its TMINI Miniature Robotic System.
An additional agreement with b-ONE Ortho will add implants, including the MOBIO Total Knee, to ID-HUB for use with TMINI.
ID-HUB already includes five implant systems from four other implant manufacturers. Adding another implant partner’s products to the database enhances customers’ choice of implant options when using the TMINI system.
TMINI includes a wireless robotic handpiece that assists surgeons in performing total knee replacement; it first received 510(k) clearance from FDA in 2023.
Development of the new implant modules has commenced, and THINK will seek FDA clearance in coming months for use of the TMINI System with the MOBIO and Freedom systems.
