ExsoMed announced that the first 25 INnate Intramedullary Threaded Nail cases for treatment of metacarpal fractures have been successfully completed in Israel.
The INnate intramedullary threaded nail is designed for rapid, minimally invasive fixation. A robust length offering with a dual crest height design provides optimal fit within the intramedullary canal. INnate is reportedly the only non-compression option, constructed to avoid shortening of oblique and comminuted fractures, while providing simple fracture stabilization in minutes. Instrumentation is sterile-packed and single-use.
Gad Medical is ExsoMed’s exclusive distribution partner for the Israeli market. Founded in 2013 by local medical device executives formerly with DePuy and DePuy Synthes, the organization has grown by more than 50% each year, representing some of the world’s most cutting-edge technologies and treatments in healthcare.
“Early success and adoption of INnate in Israel further validates our mission to raise the standard of care in hand surgery by providing surgeons with user-friendly surgical tools that reduce the global cost of care and get patients back to work and daily activities faster,” said James Young Kim, ExsoMed’s Managing Director of Global Sales and Marketing. “As we continue experiencing strong growth in the United States, we are also increasing our international efforts. Gad Medical is just one of our many extraordinary international partners; we are honored that they are a part of the growing ExsoMed family.”
