Exactech Truliant Instrumentation Used in Knee Revision

By Julie A. Vetalice

Exactech announced completion of the first revision knee procedure with Truliant® instrumentation. Truliant supports mechanical and ExactechGPS computer-assisted surgical approaches, and is now available for primary and revision surgery.

Truliant instrumentation is designed to provide visual, audible and tactile feedback during the procedure, offering flexion/extension gap management and supporting proper alignment.

The Truliant primary knee entered pilot launch in 2Q17, and has been used in >600 surgeries to date. Truliant primary and revision knees are slated for full U.S. launch in 2018.
