Exactech Launches Chime Clinical Exchange App for Surgeons

Exactech further enhanced its Active Intelligence® Portfolio with launch of Chime, a mobile app created to help transform the way surgeons collectively share intelligence throughout the patient care path.

Available for iOS and Android, Chime supports clinical exchanges and surgical case discussions with surgeon colleagues. Chime users can post cases, solicit feedback, pose questions, launch polls and comment on cases.

Exactech is aggressively expanding its portfolio of tools to help surgeons engage with patients and peers, use predictive tools and optimize the way they perform surgery. other recent Active Intelligence endeavors include the acquisition of Muvr patient interactive solutions and the launch of Predict+ Machine Learning Software for shoulder replacement.

Chime is currently available as a value-added tool for Exactech Equinoxe® shoulder surgeons. The company plans to expand access to the new clinical exchange app to support hip, knee and foot/ankle applications.
