By Julie A. Vetalice

DePuy Synthes and LifeNet Health launched ViviGen Formable™ Cellular Bone Matrix, next-gen cellular allograft to support bone formation during spinal fusion.

The first-generation version of ViviGen debuted in late 2014 and fully launched in 2015. Both iterations are available to suit surgeon preference, and ViviGen is also applicable in trauma procedures for repair or reconstruction of musculoskeletal defects. DePuy Synthes has an exclusive worldwide agreement to market and promote ViviGen and ViviGen Formable.

ViviGen and ViviGen Formable are Human Cells, Tissues and Cellular and Tissue-based Products (HCT/Ps) comprising cryopreserved, viable cells within a cortical cancellous bone matrix and demineralized bone.
