Bodycad completed its first case in Canada of the lateral open wedge distal femoral osteotomy for the treatment of knee malalignment. The BC Fine Osteotomy utilizes Bodycad’s proprietary software to offer a custom solution for each patient.
This “procedure in a box” solution includes a 3D-printed patient-specific surgical guide as well as a patient-specific plate with a small titanium wedge to confirm 3D angular correction. The BC Fine Osteotomy system also includes calibrated drill guides with drill stop technology to protect posterior neurovascular structures and multi-planar 3D planning to increase accuracy.
