BioPoly entered into an exclusive agreement with Hospital Innovations Ltd, to distribute BioPoly® partial resurfacing devices throughout the U.K.
Hospital Innovations also supplies a range of sports medicine and orthobiologic products, as well as instruments.
BioPoly’s resurfacing implants address the knee, patella and shoulder using a proprietary combination of ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene and hyaluronic acid. After implantation, this material attracts joint fluid to its surface for lubrication, similar to native cartilage; thus, the devices function like synthetic cartilage and can be used to replace just the damaged areas in joints. The RS Knee, RS Patella, RS Trochlea and RS Shoulder are approved under the CE Mark.
