BioPoly RS resurfacing technology employs ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene plus hyaluronic acid, creating a “self-lubricated” proprietary material designed to interface with tissues such as cartilage, meniscus and labrum, replacing only the damaged portion of the joint surface in a minimally invasive and tissue-sparing approach.
BioPoly’s partial resurfacing knee received CE Mark approval in 2011 and recently surpassed its 100th implantation.
