Biedermann Motech is debuting the MOSS VRS® Pedicle Screw to the U.S. market.
The system features Next Generation Pedicle Screw Technology™, which locks the polyaxial angle of the screw at any angle, any time during surgery. This allows surgeons to access more intraoperative options using one highly functional implant.
As opposed to traditional systems, which include a wide range of different screw types, MOSS VRS can be locked and unlocked as and when required during complex correction and reconstruction.
“Over 30 years after the introduction of the MOSS System, the world’s first polyaxial pedicle screw, we are excited to lead the advancement of posterior screw systems again with the launch of MOSS VRS,” said Markku Biedermann, Chairman of Biedermann Motech.
