Amedica announced the changing of its corporate name to SINTX Technologies
SINTX Technologies’ new focus is on developing silicon nitride products for a variety of OEM customers, effectively changing the company’s model to a supplier to the orthopaedic and other biomedical industries.
This rebranding follows the recent transaction with CTL Medical, which is now the exclusive owner of the former Amedica’s metal and silicon nitride spine product portfolio. CTL Medical is changing its name to CTL-Amedica.
SINTX Technologies expects to change its trading symbol on NASDAQ to SINT in ~10 days. In the meantime, shares will continue to trade under AMDA.
