Remaining on its path to launch 12 new products in 2019, Alphatec commenced commercial release of the IdentiTi-PC posterior curved porous titanium interbody for transforaminal lumbar interbody fusion.
IdentiTi devices are made through a subtractive manufacturing process. Features include a consistent, fully interconnected porosity, mimicking that of cancellous bone; reduced density (60% porous), allowing enhanced intraoperative and postoperative imaging; stiffness similar to bone, etc.
Three more devices in the IdentiTi line are slated to fully launch by year-end.
