Alphatec (ATEC) commenced commercial launch of the PLIF IdentiTi™-PS Porous Titanium Interbody Implant for posterior lumbar interbody fusion, as well as AlphaGRAFT® Demineralized Bone Matrix (DBM) Fiber. These are among 12 new products that ATEC plans to launch within the year.
IdentiTi-PS entered alpha evaluations in June 2018. This is the second of six IdentiTi implant systems to come, following the IdentiTi-C Porous Titanium Interbody that launched in 1Q19.
AlphaGRAFT DBM Fiber is designed to combine the regenerative capacity of interconnected fibers with the maximum availability of growth factors endogenous to bone. Composed entirely of demineralized fibers, the moldable allograft offers an osteoconductive scaffold for delivery of autologous stem cells.
