Acumed acquired the RASL System to treat scapholunate ligament injury from Radicle Orthopaedics. RASL (Reduction and Association of the Scaphoid and Lunate) received FDA 510(k) clearance in 1Q17.
The device complements Acumed’s hand and wrist portfolio, which includes plates and the Acutrak 2® Headless Compression Screw. The transaction closely follows the company’s purchase of technology that will support development of a total elbow joint replacement.
