Access2Bone, a startup specializing in development, manufacturing and sale of high-end tissue-based allografts for use in bone void filling procedures, today announced its accreditation by the American Association of Tissue Banks (AATB).
The accreditation establishes that Access2Bone meets the standards set by the AATB and that the company is now fully accredited for the processing or preparation, storing and distributing musculoskeletal tissue.
Nol van de Mortel, Co-Founder and Managing Director of Access2Bone, said, “We are thankful that the AATB could, in fact, accredit us in these challenging times. Ever since we have been talking to orthopedic surgeons about our unique products, we’ve noticed their concerted interest. Access2Bone’s accreditation will now pave the way for our product to be introduced in the clinic.”
