NuVasive (NUVA) commenced commercial U.S. launch of Modulus® TLIF-A, a porous titanium implant for transforaminal lumbar interbody fusion. This completes the company’s Advanced Materials Science™ portfolio for all major posterior interbody fusion techniques used in TLIF.
Modulus TLIF-A is an anteriorly placed implant with a lattice structure designed to enhance imaging for visualization of fusion. The Modulus system is designed to work with NUVA’s MAS® TLIF and MAS Midline access systems, allowing customization for specific surgical techniques.
Ex-U.S. launch of the Advanced Materials Science TLIF portfolio is slated for later this year.
