BlueCross BlueShield of North Dakota (BCBS-ND) issued a positive commercial payor policy covering Paradigm Spine’s coflex® Interlaminar Stabilization® device to treat lumbar spinal stenosis. The policy, titled “Interspinous and Interlaminar Stabilization/Distraction Devices (Spacers),” is dated July 2018.
BCBS-ND is the largest commercial payor in North Dakota, which significantly expands coflex’s patient access.
Earlier this month, the technology received similar coverage from BCBS South Carolina.
