Medtronic commenced the Japanese launch of Grafton™ Demineralized Bone Matrix (DBM) for spine and orthopedic procedures. Grafton DBM is the first DBM available in Japan, having received PMDA approval in August 2018.
Grafton DBM functions as a bone graft extender and substitute and bone void filler, available in many formats. In Japan, these include putty, matrix and matrix strip. The product has been used in >1.5 million procedures in the U.S., Japan, Korea, Australia, Latin America, the Middle East and parts of Europe.
