mi-ultra combines a musculoskeletal ultrasound system with image quality and reliability for all diagnostic and procedure indications with mi-eye 2™, a tablet-based disposable office needle arthroscopy platform. The technology is a handheld, single-use tool comprising a wide-angle camera lens embedded in a disposable needle. Physicians can complete a diagnosis on the spot in a clinic, under local anesthetic. mi-ultra complements the system in applications such as guided injections or assessment of soft tissue damage outside of the joint.
Following its first year of commercial U.S. launch, mi-eye® is in use at >300 institutions.
