At AAOS 2016, OrthoGrid will introduce new HipGrid® Drone™ accessories to address C-arm distortion and magnification issues during surgical planning for total hip arthroplasty.
The non-invasive, radiopaque HipGrid serves as a measurement system for intra-op assessment of implant position to support restoration of anatomic alignment in total hip replacement. HipGrid attaches to the inside of the sterile cover of a 9″ or 12″ C-arm, and displays through the fluoroscopic image a clinically-proven pattern that can be adjusted over the anatomy to visualize and assess positioning and alignment. HipGrid Drone is the company’s next-gen intraoperative radiographic alignment system.
