Studies concluded that, for patients with 2-level degenerative disc disease, cervical total disc replacement (cTDR) appears to be highly cost-effective vs. anterior cervical discectomy and fusion (ACDF) and supports greater quality of life at less cost.
This cost-utility study used clinical data from a 2-level Mobi-C vs. ACDF randomized, controlled trial presented in December 2014. A comparison of these two studies yielded the observation that Incremental Cost-Effectiveness Ratios for the 5-year data far exceeded that of 2-year data, suggesting that cTDR may become more cost-effective over time.
LDR’s revenue growth is continually attributed to sales of Mobi-C and the ROI-C® Cervical Cage, and enhanced by the cross-selling opportunities between the two.
