Zimmer Biomet launched PrimaGen Advanced™ Allograft, an autograft substitute comprising cancellous bone + demineralized cortical bone fibers with verified osteoinductivity.
PrimaGen Advanced Allograft is indicated for use as an allogeneic bone graft substitute containing viable donor cells intended for homologous use in the repair, replacement, reconstruction or supplementation of recipient tissue in musculoskeletal defects that are surgically created or arising from traumatic injury to bone.
Recently, RTI Surgical received FDA clearance for use of allograft with its C-Plus™ PEEK interbody fusion system, as did Spineology for its Rampart™ interbody fusion devices.
