
Zimmer Biomet appointed Device Technologies as an exclusive distributor in Australia and New Zealand for its sports medicine and surgical product portfolios, beginning in April, with foot/ankle and trauma portfolios to follow in May.
Device Technologies has 28 years of experience in the orthopedic market in Australia and New Zealand. In 2019, the company’s orthopedic business had over 55% market share in Australia’s sports medicine market.
Zimmer Biomet’s product offerings will complement Device Technologies’ portfolio, encompassing products and technologies, education, technical service and clinical support. Presently, 85% of orthopedic surgeons in Australia and New Zealand are Device Technologies customers.
