CTC will operate as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Zimmer Biomet. Transaction terms were not disclosed.
This marks the third strategic acquisition announced by ZBH within 2016, following Cayenne Medical in May and LDR in June. Cayenne will support expansion of arthroscopy/soft tissue repair (sportsmed) capabilities and joint recon, while LDR expands the company's breadth in spine.
