Xenco Medical has deployed its first interactive vending machines designed to dispense spine surgery instruments and implants.
The machines house, track and deliver Xenco’s disposable, sterile-packaged composite polymer-based systems, which users can access through a large touchscreen. Real-time alerts can be sent to Xenco HQ, and users can also use the system to access virtual tutorials on-demand.
Xenco’s implant systems are designed to increase O.R. efficiency and eliminate internal logistics associated with the autoclave process. Products include the SETx Cervical Interbody and Plate, pedicle screws, and posterior cervical and lumbar interbody systems.
In 2017, the company launched TraumaGPS™, an on-demand trauma surgery delivery app with real-time GPS driver tracking for disposable spinal implant systems, and expanded U.S. availability of the ASC CerviKit, designed specifically for ambulatory surgery centers, which includes all of the company’s single-use cervical implant lines.
