WishBone Medical was granted a global, non-exclusive license to sell a guided growth plating system to treat pediatric deformed limbs. The devices, protected by three patents, are designed for gradual correction of pediatric deformities in the upper and lower extremities.
WishBone will develop its own guided growth plate and instrumentation systems in sterile packed, single use, disposable kits. The product will be available in 2- and 4-hole plates in multiple sizes, in stainless steel and titanium. Launch is slated for 1Q19.
