WishBone Medical signed an agreement with Optimal, a provider of automated logistics inventory services, supporting distribution of single-use, sterile packed pediatric orthopedic implants to hospitals and ambulatory surgical centers anywhere in the world, the next day. Presently, WishBone offers 42 pediatric orthopedic product systems.
Optimal’s Master Distribution program partners with all distributors across the U.S. and can reach virtually all surgeons in the pediatric orthopedics industry. Further, Optimal’s Government Services program provides direct access to global Veteran Administration Medical Centers and Department of Defense Military Treatment Facilities, as well as Indian Health Service Hospitals in the U.S.
The relationship gives WishBone access to a sizable opportunity to provide orthopedic solutions for U.S. Veterans who can benefit from Kids of All Ages™ configurations, whereby WishBone products are used in adults without inserting drill holes or screws where their growth plates used to be.
