WishBone Medical Collaborates with HSS for Pediatric Total Hip

By Julie A. Vetalice

WishBone Medical entered into a license agreement with Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS) to develop a Pediatric Total Hip for the treatment of juvenile idiopathic arthritis and congenital hip dysplasia.

WishBone was formed in early 2017 to offer pediatric implants and instruments that are sterile-packed in single use disposable kits. Since then, the company has launched Broken Screw Removal and K-Wire Systems and the Exact Osteotomy System, and yesterday, they announced a partnership with Implanet to distribute JAZZ spinal implants in the U.S. to treat pathologies requiring vertebral fusion.
