Wenzel Spine commenced full U.S. launch of the VariLift®-LX expandable standalone interbody fusion device.
Available in two lengths and five heights, the zero-profile system allows surgeons to optimize an implant’s fit within the disc space. Further, surgeons may implant and expand the device without disengaging the instrumentation that also allows them to insert autograft material.
The product entered limited launch in late 1Q16, soon after receiving FDA 510(k) clearance.
