New investors Endeavour Vision and H.I.G. BioHealth led the round with participation from existing investors, New Enterprise Associates, Thomas McNerney and Alta.
Superion received Premarket Approval from FDA in 2015 following completion of a randomized controlled trial, and as of January 2017, the system is described by a new American Medical Association CPT Category I code.
To accommodate growth, Vertiflex recently relocated corporate headquarters from San Clemente to a larger facility in Carlsbad, California with expanded distribution capability and a physician education center.
